MORRISVILLE, N.C. -- The Special Olympics of North Carolina are cashing in a big check today.
ResCare, an adult care facility, donated a check to the Special Olympics for more than $20,000.
ResCare took part in the Special Olympics "Plane Pull" fundraiser earlier this month.
The company donated $10,000 and employees managed to raise another $10,685 themselves.
"As companies, they're giving back to Special Olympics so that we can help provide sports training and competition, not only to the residents that they're working with, but to other people with intellectual disabilities," said Keith Fishburn, president of the Special Olympics North Carolina.
