RALEIGH, N.C.—Storms that rolled through the area Friday night caused some local fireworks displays to be cancelled.

LOS ANGELES -- Larry Harmon who portrayed the wing-haired Bozo the Clown for more than half a century, died Thursday of congestive heart failure, said his publicist, Jerry Digney. He was 83.
